Magdalena was born in Austria, but grew up in Lander, Wyoming. She started high school with Kolbe while living in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and is now living in Wyoming again with her parents and 8 siblings. She has appeared in numerous Shakespeare plays, including The Tempest, Much Ado About Nothing, the Merchant of Venice, and Measure for Measure. Most recently she starred as Yente in Fiddler on the Roof. An avid writer, Magdalena's essays have been recognized in a statewide Wisconsin pro-life essay contest, national essay contests, and Kolbe's contest awarding a place on Mrs. Finnegan's trip to Italy and Rome.

Magdalena loves to travel to Europe and in recent years has made trips to Rome, Venice, Paris, Lisieux, and London. She spent the last three months of senior year doing her Kolbe classes from Vienna, Austria, where she was working as a nanny. She has relished the classical education she has gained through Kolbe, and especially wants to thank Mr. Schulz, Mrs. Finnegan, and the amazing Dr. Almanzar. Magdalena plans to pursue her love of the Great Books at Wyoming Catholic College this fall.
