Christen Almanzar earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Los Angeles in Ancient Near Eastern Civilizations with a minor in Hebrew and Jewish Studies. Her focus was the Hebrew Bible and ancient Israelite religion and culture. She spent her senior year abroad at Goerg-August-Universität Göttingen where she studied her major with German language instruction. She returned to Göttingen in 2011 to complete a Master of Arts degree in Intercultural Theology and finished with a final master thesis entitled “Mary’s Motherhood as an Intercultural Bridge: A Case Study of Schönstatt’s Marian Devotion”. She currently lives in New Hampshire with her husband and their five children.

Elizabeth Buergler earned her Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies at the University of Dayton in Ohio. Her focus was on faith formation in schools and parishes. After graduation, Elizabeth moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she worked at a large parish doing middle school and high school youth ministry, as well as 10th grade Confirmation preparation. Elizabeth “retired” from youth ministry to stay home with her children and to start a photography business where she focuses on capturing Sacraments and Liturgies. Elizabeth is excited to be part of the Kolbe Academy family sharing her love for the Catholic faith and Sacraments for another fabulous year!

Brittany Doucette earned Master’s degrees in Catechetics (MA, Franciscan University of Steubenville) and Theology (MTS, Saint Meinrad), as well as a Certificate in Youth Ministry and Advanced Catechist Certification. She also holds a state teaching license in secondary English, and is in a graduate program studying English/literature classical education (University of Dallas). Mrs. Doucette is a proud Navy officer’s wife and mother to four children. She has lived in nine states thus far, presently stationed in North Carolina. Along the way, she has been active in Catholic education in many roles and a variety of settings, including parishes, schools, and online. She enjoys teaching in Kolbe’s unique learning environment with its wonderful community!

Nicholas Senz is a husband and father, and the Director of Faith Formation at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Arlington, TX. He received a B.A. in Communication Studies (Journalism track) from the University of Portland, and an M.A. in Philosophy and M.A. in Theology from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in Berkeley, CA. Nicholas served as a Master Catechist in California. He has taught faith formation and catechist training courses in parishes across the country, and has taught philosophy and religion at the community college level. He has also been published in several Catholic websites and periodicals, including Aleteia, Catholic Digest, Catholic Herald (UK), Catholic World Report, and Homiletic and Pastoral Review. Nicholas lives in Texas with his wife and three children.

Alyson Zuzolo holds a B.A. in Religious Studies and Sociology from John Carroll University. Upon completing college, she participated in Operation TEACH, a Catholic service-teaching program. While in the program, Alyson earned her Master’s of Arts in Teaching from Notre Dame University of Maryland. Since then, she has worked in Catholic schools teaching Language Arts, Social Studies, and Religion. Alyson has a particular interest in Ignatian Spirituality and is thrilled to be part of a school community where this tradition is valued. She lives in the Cleveland area with her husband and three young sons. In her free time, she enjoys cheering for the Cleveland Indians, exercising outdoors, spiritual reading, cooking/baking, and having fun with her family.

Neva Hernandez earned her B.A. in English Language and Literature at Christendom College and her J.D. at Ave Maria School of Law. She has homeschooled for thirteen years and previously taught middle school composition and literature, as well as high school history, economics, and test prep a Catholic hybrid school in Austin, TX. Neva has also scored standardized tests for over a decade. Currently, she teaches religious education and serves as the Vice Coordinator for the American Heritage Girls troop at her local parish. Neva has been a devourer of books ever since she read The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe straight through twice as a child. She currently lives in Columbia, MO with her husband Rudy and their three children Edmund, Peter, and Lucy.

Kim Crawford is a lifelong book person. As well as being a voracious reader, she has been a bookseller, a copy editor at a small publishing house, and a high school English teacher. Kim graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Secondary English Education and taught high school English in brick-and-mortar schools in North Carolina and Virginia. She has also instructed through the prestigious Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP). At Kolbe, she loves the melding of serious literature study with the beauty of the Catholic faith and really enjoys instilling that same love in her students! When not reading or teaching, Kim may be found playing board games, traveling, and participating in geeky sff things. Mrs. Crawford lives near Atlanta, GA with her husband and six children and is ready to talk about books with anybody, anytime and anywhere.

Ann Cereghino graduated from Gonzaga University with a B.A. in English and her Washington Teacher Certification. Right after, she received her Masters in Education through the Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education (PACE) program at University of Portland. While in PACE, Ann taught English, Literature, and Health at the middle school level in Portland, OR. Shortly thereafter, she taught English and Journalism for a number of years at a Catholic high school in Portland. An avid reader and lover of all things literary, Ann enjoys sharing her passion with her students. She currently lives in Portland, OR, with her husband and four children.

Beth Dobrozsi is a veteran homeschool parent graduating three of her four children through Kolbe Academy. She has over twenty years of experience teaching English, Latin, literature, and composition in homeschool co-ops, hybrid schools and a K-12 classical academy, both in traditional classroom settings as well as online. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with her B.B.A. and Xavier University with her M.H.H.A. After an initial career in health administration and teaching at the post-secondary level, she decided to homeschool her oldest, who is now a priest in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, and switched gears to began teaching middle and high school students. She recently relocated to Hillsdale, Michigan, from Cincinnati when her husband joined the chemistry department at Hillsdale College and is enjoying small town life again. In her free time, she can either be found curled up in a comfy chair with her dog reading a classic or out on the tandem bike cycling with her husband.

Ellen Finnigan holds a B.A. in English from Boston College and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Montana. She has worked as an Editorial Director for an online media network, written a political column for a daily newspaper in Washington D.C., lived on a Catholic commune, and worked as a House Facilitator for a group of inner city missionaries in Denver. She has been teaching for Kolbe since the inaugural year of the online school (2013) and has taught 9th and 10th grade Literature, Intensive and Advanced Composition, and Creative Writing. She lives in Estes Park, Colorado, with her husband, Tom, and enjoys hiking, dancing, reading, writing, and the challenge of gardening in the Rockies.

Meghan graduated from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville with a Master of Arts degree in English Literature and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Literature and Medieval History. She began teaching for Kolbe Academy in 2014, right after she married her best friend and high school sweetheart. After four years, Meghan and her husband welcomed their first child in 2018, and moved to West Virginia, where they are enjoying experiencing all four seasons. They have 3 big dogs, and in her free time Meghan enjoys hiking with them, baking, doing puzzles, and all things Star Trek. Meghan is passionate about reading and writing and loves sharing her eclectic literary interests that range from Medieval epics to Victorian poetry and from Tolkien to T.S. Eliot with anyone who will listen.

Dr. Carl Hasler received his MA and PhD in Philosophy from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has taught philosophy at the college/university level for 30+ years. Recently he has taught 20 years at Collin College, a 2-year institution, in Texas. Currently, he is teaching courses in philosophy at the University of Texas at Dallas, and for campuses in the Dallas County Community College District. Over the years, Dr. Hasler has tried to focus his teaching on the ideas of such Catholic luminaries as St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Bonaventure as well as more contemporary Catholic thinkers as G. K. Chesterton, Hilaire Belloc, Josef Pieper, Fr. James Schall, S. J., and Dr. Peter Kreeft. After many years of teaching in secular institutions, Dr. Hasler is seeking a more permanent position teaching in Catholic institutions of learning. Dr. Hasler lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife, two daughters and his two grandsons.

Mrs. Hayes received her B.S. in Secondary English Education from Kennesaw State University and has taught multiple grades over the years above and beyond her degree focus in charter schools and in the homeschool community. In 2014, she was trained in the Orton-Gillingham method of reading instruction for dyslexic learners, and for the past 3 years has tutored many children ranging in age from 7 to 14 in Orton Gillingham. Helping students become proficient in reading has become a passion of hers, alongside her continued goal of nurturing a love of reading and an appreciation for classic literature. Amanda and her husband have six children. When Mrs. Hayes isn’t homeschooling or teaching, she enjoys reading, sewing, tinkering with graphic design, and slowly renovating her home in the mountains with her husband.

Michelle discovered the joy of Catholic home education in 2002 and has been homeschooling using a hybrid of Classical and Montessori pedagogies ever since. She even helped found a school in Northern California using this approach that now encompasses K-12th grade. Michelle earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Humanities from Eastern New Mexico University and is nationally certified in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for children from birth through age 12. She is also a recognized CGS Formation Leader for adults. During their travels for her husband’s military career, she has taught in various faith formation and homeschool co-op settings. As parents to five sons, Michelle and Edison are proud members of the “All-Boy” Club, which includes such member benefits as a Chesterton- and Tolkien-flavored faith life, fierce hugs, unlimited energy, bugs and reptiles, adventure, books, and self-sacrificing loyalty. Merideth Ochs earned her BA in English and certification in secondary education from Oklahoma State University. After teaching middle school for three years in Oklahoma, she moved to Nashville, TN and earned her Masters of Education in Teaching and Learning degree from Aquinas College. She taught high school composition at a Catholic school for four years before moving back to Oklahoma with her husband. Since moving back to OK, Meredith had been teaching middle school grammar at a Catholic grade school. She is passionate about Catholic education and exploring English language and literature with students.

Edwin Wilkinson graduated from Shippensburg University with an MA in Applied History. He also received a BA in Education with a teaching certificate in social studies for 7th-12th grades. After graduating, Edwin spent his time substitute teaching and volunteering at the local historical society as an educator. During the summers, he assists in designing and running summer camps for the historical society for a wide range of students. In his spare time, Edwin enjoys reading and writing about his patron saints, Saint Therese of Lisieux and Saint Joan of Arc. Edwin is planning a pilgrimage to France in 2022 to honor St. Joan. He currently lives in south-central Pennsylvania in the Blue Mountains region.

Adam lives with his wife and seven children in Newport, NH. They have been a homeschooling family for the past four years their oldest is a Kolbe Academy online student. He has been involved in Catholic ministry (youth, children, adult) for the past 21. For the past six years, he has served in the Diocese of Manchester as the Director of Faith Life at St. Patrick Parish. Adam has almost completed his Masters Degree in Theology at St. Joseph’s College of Maine and holds a BA in English from Keene State College. When he is not studying, teaching or involved in ministry, you can find him hiking a mountain, going on adventures with his family, or singing randomly in the middle of a store. Anne Angstenberger attended the University of California, San Diego with a Double Major in Political Science and History. She then moved to San Francisco and received her Masters of Education from the University of San Francisco. Anne began teaching high school history in the SF Bay Area in 2003, ranging from Modern World Studies, US Government, Economics and AP World History. In 2009, Anne began teaching for K12’s CA Virtual Academy and has had a love for homeschool/online education ever since. She is very excited to be teaching Ancient Greek History and US and Modern History for Kolbe. Anne is also the current History Department Chair. In her free time, Anne enjoys exercising, reading, cooking, road trips, watching news commentary shows, and participating in church activities with her family. Mrs. Erin Anderson attended the University of California, San Diego and earned her B.S. in Political Science and History. After spending a semester interning on Capitol Hill, she decided to pursue her love of teaching and earned her teaching credential at San Diego State University. Because of her husband’s job and multiple moves to different states, Erin has worked in a variety of teaching positions, both at the middle school and high school levels. Erin has a passion for reading, writing, and learning which resulted in her obtaining a Master’s degree in Library Science through Clarion University. Erin is very excited to be teaching History 7, American Civ, and U.S. and Modern History 12! In her free time, she enjoys exercising, reading, gardening, and attending women’s bible study. Tony is a happily married husband to Kate and proud father of two daughters. He holds a bachelor's degree in History from the University of Iowa and a master's degree in Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University. After graduating from college, Tony spent six years on and off active duty while a member of the Air National Guard and then pursued a career in education. His professional experiences include classroom teaching at the junior high and high school levels and assessment and program evaluation work in higher education. He began advising for Kolbe Academy in 2021 and will also teach in the history department. Tony resides in the Chicagoland area and in his leisure time enjoys spending time adventuring with his family in the outdoors, gardening, cooking, and his Catholic men's book club.

Jane Moser was born and raised in Texas. She earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from the University of North Texas. Jane’s first introduction to teaching was in Saginuma, Japan in 1999. There she taught kindergarten to Japanese children as well as taught English to Japanese teens and adults. Jane has been teaching ever since and earned her teaching certification through Texas A&M University-Commerce. Jane has a wide variety of teaching experience from teaching in public and private ‘brick and mortar’ schools to online education; as well as, Christ centered homeschooling and various homeschool co-ops. Her heart belongs to Jesus and enjoys teaching at her local parish. Jane is happily married with one son and lives in the quiet piney woods of East Texas.

Therese Prudlo attended Christendom College where she received her B.A. in History and cemented her passion for studying all things historical. After college she worked as an assistant librarian until she and her husband started their family. She and her husband love the classical method of education and chose to educate their children in it with a heavy emphasis on studying all subjects through the lens of their favorite subject: History. While homeschooling 2 of her 3 children, she has made time over the years to run a few Art History classes for local homeschool groups, as well as providing guest lectures for her husband, a college History Professor, on Art and Architecture to his students. She also coordinates a study abroad trip with her husband to take students to Rome, Italy, in order to experience first-hand the development of western culture and how it influences us today. As her husband’s first and final editor on all of his professional publications, she also helps him in his research as an ancient and medieval historian. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking (especially for friends and family), singing, planning trips with her husband and kids, volunteering at her local Catholic Charities food pantry, following the Boston Red Sox, and taking long walks in the woods around her house. Therese recently relocated to Tulsa, OK with her husband and three kids.

Mrs. Powers holds a BS from the University of Georgia in Mathematics Education. While there, she received the Hooten Award which is bestowed upon the student that the faculty feels best demonstrates exceptional promise from that graduating class. She taught in the public school system for seven years, serving as a lead teacher in Geometry and AP Computer Science. Kelly was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2003. She loves that teaching for Kolbe allows for her to focus on the three most important things in her life: her faith, her wonderful husband and two children, and her never ending desire to see math “click” for a student. Mrs. Powers loves dark chocolate, math songs, dressing up in themed attire, and making people laugh.

Wes graduated from the University of Missouri with a dual major in Mathematics and Statistics and holds a graduate certification from Creighton University in Catholic School Leadership. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Catholic School Leadership from the University of Dallas. He taught mathematics and was the original Director of the House System at a Catholic High school in Columbia, Missouri. In addition to teaching high schoolers, youth ministry and faith leadership development have been two of his passions. Reading the works of Catholic authors and mystery novelists is one way he spends his limited leisure time and he adores spending time with his wife and three daughters.

Sandy Amenta earned a BA in Art History from Wheaton College and an MS in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. She transitioned to a career in education after working as a preservationist, and now holds a certification in middle and high school math education working most recently as a 6-8th grade math interventionist. She and her husband enjoy homeschooling their daughter through Kolbe Academy alongside three cats and two dogs in Connecticut.

Amy K Coffee earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics and her Master of Teaching (M.T.) in Secondary Mathematics at the University of Virginia. After graduation, she joined the United States Peace Corps and spent two years teaching secondary school mathematics at St. Mary’s Secondary School for Girls in Zomba, Malawi. Over the next nine years she taught at private schools in her native South Florida and her new home of Atlanta, Georgia. She has taught Algebra II, Precalculus and Calculus, and truly enjoys helping her students build their mathematical skills. When her first child was born, she decided to take some time off from teaching and focused on activities with her church and children, with some very occasional tutoring. She is excited to join the Kolbe community and be back in the classroom. She lives in Georgia with her husband, daughter, and son. She enjoys cooking, supporting kids’ sports, Bible study, playing board games, and reading.

She received her M.S. in Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics from Ohio State University. Alicia has taught algebra and graphing intensive courses of microeconomics. Exploring practical applications of mathematical concepts is a passion she enjoys sharing with her students. Alicia also has experience as a middle school and high school mathematics tutor. Recently, Alicia has worked with real-world applications of math as a researcher in the field of energy economics. She is excited to join the Kolbe Online Academy and share her love of math and God with her students. Alicia married her husband in 2011 and lives in Virginia with their two children.

Lisa Goodrich is a Catholic homeschooling mother of 5. And now that 4 of her children have moved on to college and beyond, she is excited to apply her skills helping other Catholic homeschooling families. In addition to homeschooling, Lisa also has an adult teaching credential with 7 years of experience in the classroom. Lisa recently re-entered the work force as an online middle school math and science tutor for the Archdiocese of Denver. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UCLA and lives in Southern California. Lisa enjoys reading, swimming, cooking, gardening and spending time with her husband and “kids” but her proudest achievement are her children and the beautiful people they have become.

Ms. Kania earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Boston University and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Aurora University. She started her teaching career with ten years in the public school system, most recently teaching 8th grade math and language arts in the Chicago suburbs. For as long as she can rememember, Ms. Kania has been involved in local and national pro-life activities, participating in and organizing various events to promote and fundraise for the pro-life cause. At home, she enjoys reading, cooking, and gardening, but she would much rather be outdoors, where she enjoys hiking, running, biking, or swimming. She resides with her family in the Chicago area.

Keri Lamontagne earned her BA in Math with an Education Concentration and Studio Arts minor at Assumption College in Worcester, MA. She served for a year in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps as Montessori teacher in St. Louis, MO. She then taught fourth grade for two years through the Providence Alliance for Catholic Teachers program while simultaneously earning her MAT in Mathematics at Providence College. She then taught high school mathematics in a K-12 Catholic, classical school in New Hampshire for three years. When she is not busy finding creative ways to help high school students understand challenging math concepts, Keri loves to engage in outdoor adventures, work on little art projects, bake gluten-free treats, and play games at her family’s cabin in remote, northern New Hampshire.

The 2019-2020 school year marks Jennifer McBride’s 18th year in teaching. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Middle Childhood Education from Georgia State University and a Masters of Education in Middle Childhood Education from the University of Georgia. As a product of a Catholic school and most recently having taught in a Catholic school, Mrs. McBride is thrilled to teach for Kolbe Academy. She hopes to inspire her students to see math as a language to be learned instead of as a set of problems to be solved. Her passions include reading and playing tennis. Alexandra graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Grades Education. She spent her last semester of college student teaching in South Africa where she gained a deeper understanding of the language of mathematics and the unique challenges of minority students. Alexandra currently lives in Augusta, GA, where she is the proud wife of a US Air Force Sergeant and together they have four children. Alexandra taught 7th and 8th grade mathematics before leaving to stay home with her children. In her free time, she loves to watch baseball, spend time outdoors, and travel. During this time, she has hosted science labs in her home for local homeschooling families. Her youngest is now in high school at Kolbe. She is honored by the privilege to guide students studying science through Kolbe and hopes to convey to them that Faith and Reason eminently compatible. Mr. Erik Duhn (pronounced Doon) studied broad field sciences in college. He received: a B.S. in Physical Science with minors in physics, chemistry, and math from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point; a B.A. in Physics Education from University of Northern Iowa; and a M.S. in Chemistry with an emphasis in Chemistry Education from South Dakota State University. Over the last 2 years he has been training with the Wisconsin Air National Guard to become a Weather Technician. He currently lives in northeastern Wisconsin with his wife and 5 children, who are homeschooled. Katie Bradley holds a BS in Animal and Dairy Sciences from Auburn University and an MS in Education from Jacksonville State University. She is a state certified teacher in Alabama and taught in the local public school. Before homeschooling her own children, Katie worked with children and adults through the Extension Service and 4-H. In addition to teaching for Kolbe, she volunteers as the DRE at her local parish and teaches English online to students in Asia. Katie and her husband, along with her 5 children, reside in rural Alabama, where they run a small family farm with beef and dairy cattle, sheep, horses, dogs and cats. In her free time Katie enjoys riding horses, reading, and watching Auburn University sports (WAR EAGLE!). Mrs. Dianne Cole studied Engineering in college and received a BS in Civil Engineering from UC Davis and an MS in Environmental Engineering from Michigan State. She served in the Air Force as a Civil Engineering Officer and was stationed in South Korea and Hawaii. She also taught Civil Engineering at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. She has been married for 26 years and has four kiddos; two in college (Go MIT! Go Notre Dame!), one in high school, and one in middle school. She also has a huge 80 pound lab/German Shepherd mix who is smart enough to go to doggy college but has decided to just stay at home with her instead. Mrs. Cole’s hobbies include running, following college football, watching movies and debating their themes and merits with her family. She loves introducing science to middle and high school age students and helping to inspire the next generation of Engineers and Scientists!

Wil is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where he received his B.S. in Biochemistry/Cell Biology and a B.A degree in European History. During a break before beginning medical school, Wil discovered a love of teaching which, 17 years later, he has never escaped. He currently is Science Department Chair and teaches Biology, AP Biology, and chemistry at a small rural high-school in California’s Central Valley. Wil and his wife, Michelle, are home-schooling parents to 9 children, ages 1-16, and he is very excited to teach for Kolbe. Leslie Spencer is a University of Dallas grad who has taught for many years, including several years teaching math, physics and chemistry at Kolbe Academy day school in Napa, California. She has also, as a homeschooling mom, run homeschooling science co-ops and FIRST Lego robotics teams. Leslie helped launch Kolbe’s online science program in 2013 and helped to pilot the online hands-on lab program.

Dolores graduated from the University of Dallas in Texas with a degree in Drama and a concentration in Business. She has worked across the country at major regional theaters in various producing and educational roles. Theaters include Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Goodspeed Musicals. Since 2016 she has spearheaded The Theater Initiative (@theInitiativeTheater): a collaboration of artists from New York to California aimed at spreading truth and joy through Dramatic Arts. They have produced fifteen productions in both professional and academic settings. Dolores is passionate about arts education, and is overjoyed to be teaching the first Dramatic Arts course for Kolbe Academy Online School this year.

Jenni first fell in love with the French language in junior high, and then knew it was her calling to pursue a lifelong study of the language and culture when she attended the Baylor in Paris study abroad program while an undergrad. From there, she spent time working in French immersion schools in the San Francisco Bay area while pursuing her Master’s degree. Corrine earned her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in English from East Tennessee State University. She is currently finishing her master’s degree in education and will graduate in December of 2020. Her master’s thesis focused on using data-driven instruction to inform math instruction and improve engagement in her own classroom. She taught at Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH for four years. At Mount Royal, Corrine was immersed in the classical method of education and developed an educational philosophy that treats each student as a whole person. Prior to working as a classroom teacher, Corrine worked as an academic interventionist to provide support to elementary students struggling in reading and math. Corrine also has experience teaching online to English language learners, and she holds a TESOL certificate. Corrine, her husband, and her children live in rural New Hampshire, where they enjoy trail running and hiking. Corrine also enjoys reading, cooking, and creating carpentry and crochet projects in her free time. Loretta Tullius received her bachelor’s degree in Theater from Franciscan University of Steubenville and a Master of Science degree in Education from The University of Montana. She had the privilege of using both degrees to bring theater to K-12 classrooms around the Midwest for two years before working in education as an RtI instructor. In 2018, she had the unique opportunity to teach fourth grade at the local Catholic school in her hometown. Last year, she and her husband made the decision to homeschool their children through Kolbe Academy. The experience proved to be fruitful as they grew closer together as Catholic family. An adventurer at heart, Loretta loves trying new things, especially if it is her husband’s gourmet cooking. She is excited to start this new chapter in her life with Kolbe Academy. After graduating she accepted a position teaching second grade at St. Monica Academy in Pasadena, California. She taught the Classical Catholic curriculum there for five years before moving to Northern California where she taught charter school elementary students in the classical style in a one-room schoolhouse while also teaching second grade at Christian Family Learning Center. She also served as her parish’s Children’s Faith Formation Coordinator for four years. Eileen has followed her passion and has taught and coached with kids from pre-k to 7th grade. Most recently Eileen worked in Northern California as an Enrichment Teacher for a Charter Home School. Eileen now resides in Virginia (until the military moves her) with her husband, Jake, who is a Religious Affairs Airman in the Air Force, and their 4 children. In Eileen’s free time you will find her volunteering at her church as a catechist or on the parish council board. She also loves to run local races and do triathlons. Sarah is a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University where she earned a B.S. in Elementary Education and a B.A. in English. She completed her Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Reading Specialty from the University of Virginia while teaching full time. Sarah taught Pre-K while also serving as the Director of the Pre-Kindergarten program at St. Thomas More Cathedral School in Arlington, VA for 7 years. In addition to teaching, Sarah also directed and choreographed dozens of children’s and adult theater performances with Encore Stage and Studio. In January 2020 she and her husband got married and then moved cross country to San Diego, CA where he serves with the Navy. Sarah enjoys music, theater, reading, puzzles, and watching sunsets with her husband!
