Liturgical Living for September

Welcome to the beginning of the 2023-24 school year and the liturgical year of HOPE!

Hope is trusting in God's loving plan. Through the theological virtue of hope our hearts are set on the goal of heaven. The virtue of hope enables us to suffer with joy in this life, knowing that even when the things that happen to us are evil, the Lord will use them for our salvation. The virtue of hope reminds us that the sufferings of this life are short and small compared to the greatness of joy prepared for us in eternity!

Throughout September Kolbe students will learn about hope through these inspiring exemplars: St. Joseph, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, and Bls. Louis & Zelie Martin.

We are called as parents and teachers to instill these virtues into our home and community as well. Here are a few creative ideas to help you celebrate and live the mystery of Christ throughout the Liturgical Year within your family and community.
