Kolbe Academy families are visiting some of the colleges featured in the Newman Guide, and we’re working with our college partners to make these visits a meaningful opportunity for students discerning their next step.
Kolbe families have two great ways to participate:
We’re encouraging Kolbe families to visit select Newman Guide colleges around the same time so you can experience campus life alongside other Kolbe families.
During these visits, families can:
Kolbe staff may attend some of these visits, and we’ll share updates as plans take shape.
And if you’re planning your own trip to a Newman Guide College, we'd still love for you to be a part of the experience! Share your own visits by tagging @KolbeAcademy, #KolbeCollegeVisits or on social media. We may feature your photo to inspire other Kolbe families to make their own visit!
Whether you travel alongside other Kolbe families or visit on your own, these college visits are a wonderful way to explore faithful Catholic campuses and help your student find the right place to grow in faith and intellect.
Are these visits officially coordinated by Kolbe Academy?
Not exactly. Kolbe Academy is encouraging families to visit Newman Guide colleges around the same time to make the experience more meaningful and community-oriented. We’ll share updates if Kolbe staff are attending specific visits, but most planning and registration will be handled directly through the colleges. Depending on Kolbe attendance, we may have private experiences during our event.
How do I register for a visit?
Once you fill out the Kolbe College Visits Interest Form, you’ll receive links and details to register directly with each college. Registration and travel arrangements are managed by the colleges themselves.
Will Kolbe families meet up during the visit?
Some families may choose to connect informally on campus or through our online community. If Kolbe staff attend a particular visit, we’ll share basic meet-up information ahead of time. Otherwise, families are free to connect as they wish.
Is Kolbe organizing travel or hotel accommodations?
No, families make their own travel and lodging arrangements. Depending on the school, some of the colleges offer room and board as part of the visit.
