Kolbe Academy Students Earn National Honors on 2026 National Latin Exam

Kolbe Academy is proud to celebrate the achievements of our students on the 2026 National Latin Exam (NLE), a nationally recognized assessment taken by students across all 50 states and more than 20 countries.

This year, Kolbe students demonstrated exceptional performance:

  • 14 students earned Gold (Summa Cum Laude) honors
  • 17 students earned Silver (Maxima Cum Laude) honors
  • 15 students earned Magna Cum Laude
  • 6 students earned Cum Laude

In total, 52 out of 78 Kolbe students received national recognition for their performance.

These results reflect both the dedication of our students and the strength of Kolbe’s authentically Catholic, classical approach to education. Latin study plays a central role in the classical tradition, forming students not only in language, but in logic, precision, and a deeper engagement with the roots of Western civilization.

Through their work in Latin, students develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom with clarity in thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently engage complex texts.

We also congratulate our faculty, whose guidance and commitment make these accomplishments possible.

Kolbe Academy was also recognized with a National Latin Exam Certificate of Merit, awarded to schools demonstrating strong participation and achievement.

We are grateful for the hard work of our students and teachers and look forward to continued excellence in the years ahead.
